The mussels are mainly destined for the premium restaurant and hospitality sector. They are sold throughout the UK and across the Middle East, where they are held in high regard and maintain a strong Shetland brand. The mussels are sold under the brand “ShetlandSelect” which demonstrates a unique local provenance, a credit to the dedicated individual farmers who produce them.
Shetland Select mussels are available locally, throughout the hospitality sector and stockists such as Scoop Wholefoods, QA Fish Shop and Island Fish in Lerwick. They are also available direct from the Seaspray packing station at the Old Fish Market, on Laurenson Quay, Lerwick. Fresh from the sea and onto your plate!
