The Peerie Shop Café prides itself on serving local seasonal good food. Amy and Chris are passionate about this and make everything themselves in house.
They open for breakfast, with homemade granola or porridge depending on the season, local eggs, bacon, bread, sausermeat, and morning pastries. Lunchtime starts around about 11 with an ever-changing menu depending what’s in season and what they have got. Soup, pies and a version of a sandwich all using local meat, fish and veg. The cake fridge is always full of tempting things, GF V and dairy free flavoured with Shetland. Take away or sit in.
They cater for all dietary requirements. Always having Vegan, gluten and dairy free options.
Coffee is an important part of the cafe, always striving to serve the best coffee. Roasted exclusively for them twice a month in small batches in Scotland. Sold in retail bags to take home as well.
Peerie Shop Cafe is plastic free, as much as it can be and has a filtered water tap to fill your water bottle. You can place your takeaway order and browse in Peerie Shop until your buzzer tells you it’s ready. There is seating upstairs for those that want to relax with friends and family, or tables outside on a good day.
Free wifi. Local art on the walls. A creative space.
