Marian is a born and bred Shetlander and with a background of 35 years teaching in state secondary schools mostly in inner London- she has a wealth of experience in communicating with a range of audiences, showing them how to cook from scratch, teaching basic skills and techniques to create healthy and wholesome dishes.
Marian is on the steering group for the Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards, having been ambassador in 2019, and she is a member of the Guild of Food Writers.
