Located over 100 miles north of the UK Mainland, Shetland’s crisp, fresh air and plentiful clear water create the perfect environment for brewing. All of our beers are inspired by our Shetland home where the elements reign untamed and wild.

The brewery was founded in 2012 with the aim of offering quality, local craft beer to Shetland. Since taking over as head brewer in 2019, Jonny Sandison has helped to elevate our brand to its multi-national award-winning status.
Our taproom also functions a fantastic venue space. Not only do we offer our own events including live music, quizzes and local dialect readings, it also is available for private hire of parties up to 60 people.
