This micro bakery launched post-pandemic, offering owner Gordon the opportunity to exercise his great interest in baking bread. Gordon's passion lies in recreating international recipes he discovered while travelling - and he is keen to offer Shetland the flavours and variations of bread they may have enjoyed on holiday in their local shops.

Tucked away in the heart of Weisdale, Doocot began baking for local shops and cafes in early 2024. They offer a variety of breads not previously available in shops in Shetland.
