The hall’s enthusiastic volunteers dedicate their time and energy to running all sorts of community and fundraising events. They’ve hosted everything from fish and chip nights, Sunday brunches, bingo nights and the local play group to hall teas with James Martin and the Taste of Shetland online festival 2020!
They’re involved in the local Up Helly Aa and run regular Sunday teas to cater to the many walkers who visit the world famous St. Ninian’s Isle sands.
The excellent hall facilities are available for hire for private functions, community events, fundraising events and, of course, a good old fashioned Shetland wedding dance. The hall boasts a restaurant grade kitchen, full access for those with limited mobility, a large main hall area and a separate committee room with a fantastic view of the village.
